We are using Ruby, but Python experience would also be easily transferred.• programming in C++, ideally with some C#, Java, Qt, or other desktop apps exposure to get to understand desktop application UI code.• We work in an app that runs on specialized Windows 10 appliances, compiled in Visual Studio, and needs to be tested using a custom harness partially in C++ and the majority in Ruby (not ruby on rails)• Good amount of unit testing experience and can take responsibility for driving code quality• Understand the existing Architecture and Application• Design and development of the allotted prioritized features• Conduct Unit testing• Create test plan and test strategy documents.• Manual testing, test automation and completion of allotted features• Participating in Project Initiation and Sprint ceremonies• Scripting exposure in Ruby or Python or Java and solid object-oriented skills in any programming language
