The individual must be well organized and be willing to stretch their skills to test and troubleshoot complex product issues. Excellent communications skills and strong computer applications skills are needed to compile data and create professional technical reports. The individual will also work very closely with Warranty to perform all aspects of the warranty process including identifying failure modes of products returned from the field.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Repair products that are defective off the production lineAlert Quality and Production of recurring assembly errorsProvide failure analysis data to Quality Control and Engineering on an as needed basisConduct and prepare reports for tests requested by customers for in-warranty product problemsMaintain adequate inventory to perform repairsAnalyze and/or repair product returnsProvide failure analysis data to Quality Control and Engineering on an as needed basisConduct and prepare reports for tests requested by internal customers for in-warranty product problemsProcess warranty returns in the ERP system as neededQualifications: Two-year technical degree in electronics or equivalent experience is required, with demonstrated level of technical capability and responsibility.Basic soldering skills are required.Professional written and verbal communication skills are required. Proficient expertise in Microsoft Office is required, particularly Word and Excel.Proficiency in SQL is desired, but not required.Demonstrated capability as a self-starter in a hands-on environment is required.
