Laboratory Technician II- Chemistry (temp to hire)Make your application after reading the following skill and qualification requirements for this position.Location: Daytona Beach FLShift: 6am-6pm Thursday-Saturday and every other WednesdayHourly Pay Rate: $21-$23Position Overview: We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our Chemistry Department in our GMP Quality Control (QC) . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry, exceptional laboratory skills, and a keen eye for accuracy. This is a temp to hire position in Daytona Beach, FL.Key Responsibilities:Perform routine and non-routine chemical and physical analyses of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis spectrophotometry, FTIR, and wet chemistry methods.Prepare and standardize reagents, solutions, and standards required for analytical testing according to established procedures.Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.Document and record all test results, observations, and data accurately and in compliance with GMP regulations.Assist in the investigation of out-of-specification (OOS) results and deviations, including root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).Participate in method validation and verification studies to ensure analytical methods meet regulatory requirements and are fit for purpose.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality Assurance (QA), Research and Development (R&D), and Manufacturing, to support product development, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment and prevent accidents or incidents.Contribute to the maintenance of laboratory documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), protocols, and reports.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field.Minimum of 2 years of industry experience working in a GMP laboratory environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.Proficiency in analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, UV-Vis spectrophotometry, and wet chemistry methods required.
