Like the look of this opportunity Make sure to apply fast, as a high volume of applications is expected Scroll down to read the complete job description.Responsibilities:Lead design, synthesis, and characterization of ceramic materials for SOFC electrodes, electrolytes, and interconnects.Collaborate with teams to integrate ceramics into stack designs, optimizing performance.Drive innovation to overcome challenges in thermal management, chemical compatibility, and mechanical stability.Stay updated on ceramic materials advancements, applying new knowledge to improve SOFC technology.Support scale-up and manufacturing processes for ceramic components.Qualifications:Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Materials Science, Ceramic Engineering, or related field.Strong background in ceramic materials synthesis, processing, and characterization.Experience with high-temperature ceramic applications, ideally in fuel cell systems.Proficiency in laboratory experimentation and data analysis.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Passion for renewable energy and sustainability.Based in Pittburgh- office based position.
