Join our client's dynamic team as a Structural Engineer specializing in bulk handling projects!Responsibilities:Collaborate with project teams to prepare structural designs and drawings from the initial concept through to completion.Conduct hand calculations and computer simulations to ensure compliance with all applicable codes and standards.Partner with the drafting department to create detailed general arrangement and fabrication drawings.Gain invaluable experience shadowing senior engineers and participating in equipment and shop inspections.Provide field reviews and support for ongoing construction projects.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; a focus on structural engineering is preferred.Experience with AutoCAD or similar drafting tools.Proficiency in RISA-3D, STAAD, or similar structural analysis software.Knowledge of Autodesk Inventor or other FEA analysis suites is a plus.Familiarity with industry standards such as the AISC Steel Construction Manual, ACI 318, and AWS D1.1.Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.Willingness to travel up to 15% for project-related work.Project management experience and a customer-oriented mindset are highly desirable.
