Our Maine-based client, a nonprofit delivering independent, reliable and insightful data solutions, is seeking to add a Senior Automated Software Test Engineer to their growing engineering team. This Direct Hire position will lead software testing efforts in meeting with the product owner, business analyst, developers and other to design, develop and refine testing requirements and use cases.Check out the role overview below If you are confident you have got the right skills and experience, apply today.QUALIFICATIONS6+ years of work experience, at least 3 years in software testingDemonstrated experience in technology, testing tools, and relational databases (e.g., SQL, Cypress, Postman, etc.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or similar major requiredSignificant experience supporting systems development, adhering to Software Development Lifecycle and Agile approaches, and relevant toolsExperience with software test tools and processes, building and testing frameworks, and web applications and APIsFamiliarity with AWS services and ecosystem a plusExcellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to create technical documentation such as user guides, help files, and training materialsDemonstrated success working both independently, and collaboratively with othersSuperior problem solving and critical thinking skillsExcellent organizational, interpersonal, and time management skillsProSearch was established in Portland, Maine in 1994 to provide companies with a full range of search, staffing and contracting services, specializing in the functional areas of information technology, accounting and finance, sales and marketing, customer service, human resource and office support utilizing a consultative approach.
