The Quality Engineer works closely with the customer and the members of their quality team to ensure our solutions meet their needs and requirements.Tasks And ResponsibilitiesManage customer concerns and facilitate appropriate corrective action both internally and externallyManager customer portals for quality related itemsMaintain and manage inspection and verification activitiesPerform customer audits and internal audits for quality assuranceAnalyze and assess process flows for continuous improvementPerform other duties as required, supporting the company's business goalsEducation And ExperienceBachelor's degree in engineering requiredMinimum 3 years quality experienceExperience working in a distribution and/or lean systems environment a plusCompetenciesStatistical and analytical skillsStrong problem solving skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to successfully work independentlyTime management skills including ability to meet deadlinesTravelExpected annual travel up to 30%. The majority of travel, both day trips and overnight will be visits to support aerospace customers and suppliers in the United States.
