With a strong commitment to excellence and sustainability, our client offers a collaborative work environment where employees can thrive and make a meaningful impact.Position Overview: As a recruitment consultant, we are assisting our client in their search for a talented Civil Transportation Engineer to join their team in Manhattan. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and projects, from local roadways to state highways, while contributing to the growth and success of a dynamic firm.Responsibilities:Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and manage transportation infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, highways, and transit systems.Conduct site visits, surveys, and assessments to gather data and identify project requirements and constraints.Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents in accordance with industry standards and regulations.Utilize advanced software tools for traffic studies, analysis, and modeling to inform design decisions.Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to ensure project compliance and approval.Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout all phases of project development and implementation.Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules to ensure timely and successful delivery.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.Professional Engineering (PE) license in the state of New York or ability to obtain licensure within six months of hire.Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil transportation engineering, with a focus on design and project management.Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil 3D, and traffic analysis tools.Strong understanding of transportation engineering principles, standards, and regulations.Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.Here's what we would ideally like to see:NYS CPESC Certification NYS EIT Registration NYS PE Registration Experience with Hydro CAD (or similar) stormwater modeling software Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D Experience with site development construction techniques (including stormwater, sewer, septic, and water system inspections, erosion control inspections, etc.)Benefits:Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.Opportunities for professional development and continuing education.Flexible work schedule and options for remote work.Collaborative and inclusive work environment with opportunities for career advancement.Healthcare401KHow to Apply: Qualified candidates are encouraged to click apply now.Apply online or submit your resume to dan.wotherspoon@
