As the Army's primary integrator of C5ISR technologies and systems, the U.S. Army Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) Center conducts Research and Development, or R&D, across a wide variety of capability areas that support all of the Army's Modernization priorities. These include cyberspace operations, electronic warfare, intelligence, data analysis and fusion, tactical network design, wireless communications, radar, sensors, electro-optics, mission command applications, autonomy and machine learning, power and energy, modeling and simulation, counter-IED, minefield detection/defeat and assured positioning, navigation and timing. It is through employment of a dedicated and superior workforce, world class facilities and global partnerships that the C5ISR Center delivers needed capabilities to our Warfighters.Find out exactly what skills, experience, and qualifications you will need to succeed in this role before applying below.Responsibilities: Incorporates latest Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) advancements into lab efforts, maximizing competitiveness of in-house Aided Target Recognition (AiTR) baseline algorithms.Tests, and deploys Machine Learning (ML) models, with particular emphasis on Computer Vision applications.AiTR training and evaluation techniques and pipelines and forms robust training sets and sequestered test sets as required.Schemes for effective ATR algorithms combining or fusing data from multi-source sensing systems.Assesses model architectures and strategies from vendors and academia and performs evaluations of vendor-developed AiTR algorithms.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a STEM (ABET accredited) program, or a closely related disciplinePerforming engineering lifecycle activities or research/development to facilitate the procurement of products, goods and/or services needed to meet program/project requirements Analyzing engineering/scientific data for use in program/project improvement and/or troubleshooting Leading/participating on an engineering/scientific program or project.
