Title Infrastructure Engineer IIDuration: FTE/PermanentLocation: onsite 4 days a week in NYC (1 day remote)Salary 130-140kIndustry: Non ProfitExperience, qualification, and soft skills, have you got everything required to succeed in this opportunity Find out below.RESPONSIBILITIES:Support and maintain application portfolios and various technology solutions including, though not limited to, MS Products, O365, AVD, Mimecast, Rubrik, network, Wi-Fi, telecommunications and security solutionsCollaborate in the support of infrastructure solutions that enhance mission-critical business operations. Under the direction of the IT Infrastructure Director, work to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support technology solutions for all aspects of the organizationSupport the Director of IT Infrastructure in the implementation of infrastructure policies, procedures, identification and communication of quality of service opportunities and end user feedbackMaintenance of infrastructure solutions, operations, and strategic planning, including business requirements, project planning and executionStay abreast of emerging security threats and work to implement cutting edge security solutions and policiesProvide level 2 engineering support for IT Infrastructure, consisting of system escalations, training and knowledge transfer of system functions to end users and other IT Teams, documentation, after hours on call support, and working with external vendors and developers as neededPerform additional duties and projects as assigned by managementREQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's Degree or at least 4 years' experience working with related IT infrastructure requiredIndustry certifications strongly preferredUnderstanding and technical knowledge of current network and operating systems, protocols, and standards, including experience with systems design and development from business requirements analysis through to day-to-day managementExperience with operations in Azure (industry certifications strongly preferred)Experience with Azure Virtual DesktopDemonstrated ability to apply IT in solving business problemsSuperior understanding of the organization's goals and objectivesExcellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and documentation skillsAbility to document and present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly languageSelf-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detailAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environmentExperience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environmentPosition requires daily in office and field visits M-F
