About The RoleThe Windows Administrator is responsible for software and hardware implementation and services for PMMC. The position reports to the Director of Network Operations and serves as the primary contact for the internal staff, and clients for services such as SFTP, backup, and Remote Desktop Services. The role is primarily focused upon the maintenance of PMMC systems, and secondarily provides support for clients that access PMMC's services.Responsibilities:Maintain installation project plans and timelines for assigned projects.Provide technical support to colleagues and client end users using Microsoft operating systems.Troubleshoot hardware and software errors as needed. Resolve technical issues posted in the ticketing system.Maintain hardware and software updates for PMMC's workstations, laptops, printers, and phones.Install, configure, and upgrade applications, operating systems, utilities, and in-house developed applications.Monitor software licensing.Review and conduct routine hardware and software audits.Occasional work outside of normal business hours is required for regular system/network maintenance to minimize downtime on business operations or emergency work to put back up failing critical systems.Critical systems need to be available close to 24/7 and this position will be called upon to work with the Network Operations team during these times.Adhere to all corporate policies, procedures, and HIPAA policies and requirements.Qualifications & RequirementsResourcefulness and problem-solving aptitudeExcellent communication skillsKnowledge of Wireless technologyNetwork Print managementSystems security (e.g., intrusion detection systems)Data backup/recoveryNetwork cabling (i.e., cable runs, pulls, punch down, patching)Experience with networks (LAN, WAN)Patch managementFamiliarity with various operating systems and platforms such as10/11, Server 2016 +, iOS, etc.O365 admin portal managementProfessional certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), Cisco, A+, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.Core ValuesJoin our team at PMMC.
