Imperium Data Talent Solutions has a client located in the Tampa, FL area looking to add an IT Security Administrator to their team. This is an on-site position and does require working some weekends.Check below to see if you have what is needed for this opportunity, and if so, make an application asap.For immediate consideration, please easy apply to this post with your updated resume.Core Responsibilities:Monitor security applications for threats and performs triage on issues.Track and document potential and actual cybersecurity incidents.Investigate and suggest new systems and procedures to continuously improve security.Configuring security systems, analyzing security requirements, and recommending improvements.Review vendor services for security practices and ensure compliance with company policies.Monitors cybersecurity notification services for new attack vectors and helps determine responses and prevention policies.Conducts and documents regular monthly, quarterly, and annual security reviews.Suggests new corporate security requirements and best practices.Helps keep the organization informed of security threats and provides guidance to them as needed.Manage and implement Security Awareness training program.Escalate issues to IT management as necessary.Support the IT Department in other ways as directed.What our client is looking for:Thorough knowledge of information technology networking practices and principles.Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field, or will consider equivalent related experience in lieu of degree.5+ years of information technology experience and 2+ years of recent experience in IT security engineering role.Ability to travel locally and maintain multiple locations for the organization.Openness to working nights and weekends as needed. Niche industry requires it at times.CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or commensurate certification is a huge plus.Technical knowledge of cyber security threat vectors.Proficiency in Active Directory, Windows OS, Mac OS, anti-malware, network technologies.Knowledge and experience with responding to cybersecurity threats.Knowledge and experience with developing and following policies and procedures.Knowledge and experience with documenting incident responses.Imperium Data Talent Solutions is a division of Imperium Data, a full-service IT Solutions Provider.
