The position drives collaboration cross functionally to deliver quality objectives and goals across all hardware and software products, as well as all the corporate quality objectives.Essential FunctionsLeading and executing the Quality strategy and goals for the multi-sitesEvaluates processes from a strategic level to ensure that products meet quality, integrity,functionality, and other specifications and requirementsOwn all quality initiatives throughout the global organization through oversight and managementContribute to the "lean thinking" education of all the employees and champion "˜lean thinking' cultureDeliver hands on coaching especially in the area of problem solving. Map competence gaps and define training requirements to support all people in the journeyDefine, drive and follow up Quality activities. Make sure there is good prioritization and focus.Manage and coordinate the Quality KPI'sMaintain consistent and positive leadership, ensure team responsibilities are clearly defined and maintain a collaborative environment that promotes team work and growth opportunitiesChallenge the management and boost lean best practices within the organizationCollaborates with management and senior staff across departmentsResponsible for establishing processes that drive the business to process excellence and improve overall cost of poor qualityRequired Education and Experience4-year degree from an accredited university in Engineering or related industrial field required;8-10 years in quality leadership, preferably in technology industrial productsAdvanced training in Lean, Kaizen, and other Continuous Improvement methodologiesExperience with reliability concepts and test development methodsStrong PFMEA experienceHistory of a process-oriented, flexible approach.Experience working with manufacturing based technology, processes and principles is requiredLean deployment leadership experience in a manufacturing environment settingComprehensive knowledge of quality systems, tools, and procedures required. Knowledge of ISO9001 & TS16949 preferred
