Procession Systems is seeking a Top Secret-Cleared Software Engineer to join our program supporting the NGA in St Louis, MO. This will be supporting a recently awarded 3-year fully funded contract; our mission is to work to create and modify applications used to capture Open Source Intelligence.Maximise your chances of a successful application to this job by ensuring your CV and skills are a good match.Responsibilities of the Software Engineer Include: Lead the advancement of sophisticated software solutions, ensuring they adhere to architectural standards and the best practices of engineering.Direct and actively participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from inception to deployment, upholding stringent standards of quality and performance.Coordinate Agile sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to propel process enhancements and deliver high-caliber outcomes.Autonomously tackle and resolve intricate software challenges, fine-tuning data workflows and bolstering system dependability.Create comprehensive technical documentation that underpins advanced software design, development, and upkeep methodologies.Guide junior software engineers, assisting them in navigating complex assignments and cultivating a culture of technical excellence within the team.Oversee crucial software testing endeavors and spearhead significant project enhancements, elevating system dependability and data integrity.Requirements for the Software Engineer Include: 1+ years of experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related areas Python development experienceMust hold at least an active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a CI PolygraphCompensation for the Software Engineer Includes: Salary: $160,000.00 -$180,000.00 (Commensurate with Experience)Health, Dental, and Vision coveragePaid parental leave401k with matchContinuous Training and Education BudgetKeywords:Python, software development, software engineering, software engineer, software developer, javascript, javascript frameworks, frontend development, fullstack development, backend development, react, angular, vue, java, node, .js, SQL, NoSQL, Agile, Scrum, Waterfall
