Job Description:

General Summary:This position takes charges of the development, evaluation, and improvement flight department methods, Flight technicians, and aircraft delivery processes while meeting high quality control standards, cost control, customer satisfaction, enhancing department.All the relevant skills, qualifications and experience that a successful applicant will need are listed in the following description.Duties and Responsibilities:talent development, coaches, and develops high performance teams, provides visionary leadership through communication and knowledge transfer, analyzes work requirements and outlines the schedules and methods to be followed for efficiency and safety.the development, evaluation, and improvement of manufacturing methods; analyzes and plans work force utilization through continuous improvement concepts. Estimates staffing requirements and related costs. Confers with management and other staff.quality assurance audits, ensures effectiveness of mechanics and avionics technicians; ensures the quality and accuracy of the mechanical and electronic function of aircraft; assists the Manager of Production Flight Operations in maintaining routine.and verifies employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and work techniques; maintains records, prepares reports, and composes correspondence relative to the work; directs and participates in complete inspections, repairs.weight and balance after repairs or alterations, when changing equipment on aircraft, maintains mechanical and electrical hangar maintenance with the Facilities team.Education, Work Experience, Certification and/or Licensure:years or above degree preferred.and/or other related licensure highly desired.5 years of supervisor experience with a high-volume manufacturing environment required.3-5 years of experience as a supervisor in the aerospace industry; OEM experience, fixed wing experience, aircraft delivery experience preferred.working knowledge of continuous improvement practices, root cause analysis required.knowledge of aircraft systems, production planning and engineering requirements, project management, sap/Teamcenter preferred.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Self and Others. Read, hear, speak, and see with no restrictions, as required by job duties. 4. Pull, push, carry, lift, or move items up to 15 lbs. throughout the work shift without assistance, as required by job duties. 5. Pull, push, carry, lift or move materials/people/items/equipment weighing up to 50lbs or more during the work shift, with the use of Company provided "reach assistance technology" or "movement assist technology" (fork-lifts, pallet jacks, pulleys, dolly's, robotics reach equipment, people movers etc.), as required by job duties.
