In this role, you will manage inbound and outbound logistics to ensure the timely and efficient receipt and delivery of material to activity points along the material flow path. You will perform activities to ensure material is received, stored, or delivered quickly and efficiently to the POU (Point-of-Use).Typical Day: 6:30am-3:30pm ESTWarehouse storage design & manufacturing point-of-use (POU) designMachinery & equipment design and procurementWorkforce & equipment planningCoordinating with engineering, manufacturing operations, and on-site / off-site supply chain functions to define critical parameters and develop plans for process control and improvementsInventory transfer & rearrangement planningMaintaining the internal logistics process engineering standards, knowledge, and tools; Assuring their implementation in current and new operationsEvaluating logistics processes and workflows, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions for process-related concernsEducation Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and/or Mechanical Engineering1-3 years of relevant engineering experience; internship experience includedTechnical Skills: Required:Experience in Supply Chain / Logistics or Transportation ManagementMaterial distribution & material handling equipment experienceWorking understanding of various materials systems and how they interrelateSAP experienceSoft Skills:Collaborating: The ability to effectively work with a variety of individuals and leaders in departments including both shop floor and office environments.
