To be successful in this role, you will support all teams via knowledge of process and plant equipment, manage the performance of chemical operators and their continuous development, including training and certification. In addition, you will update plant production procedures, participate in production planning, and investigate incidents.Essential Job Functions:Responsible for visibly supporting and driving the Arxada "˜Vision is Zero' philosophy. Works to attain the purpose, "Zero injuries, zero process incidents, Zero distribution incidents, and Zero environmental incidents." Monitor and improve EHS performance, including environmental compliance.Responsible for setting the standard as an engaged participant of site safety initiatives. And responsible for investigating all incidents that occur within the area of responsibility.Responsible for managing operational performance, attendance & approves time, scheduling, ensures operators, are complying.Provides daily coordination of work activities within area of responsibility. Sets production rates to accommodate status of process and personnel.Accepts the production plan and manages resources to deliver on schedule.Monitors process quality and directs operators on adjustments. Executes area container management, (reprocess and rework).Monitors Process Instruction Sheets and/or batch manufacturing records for correctness.Enforces plant and area housekeeping standards. Responsible for executing safety and housekeeping audits and ensuring appropriate action items are developed and tracked to completion in a timely manner.Ensures availability of plant operating procedure. Reviews and updates as required for continuous improvement.Manages the storage and handling of waste generated, until documented and delivered from the process area.Qualifications & Experience:in chemical engineering or equivalent work experience in a manufacturing environment.
