Our client is looking for a passionate Manager of Automation and Robotics (Research & Development) to join their growing team. In this hybrid role, you will have the opportunity to work from multiple major cities across the United States while leading the charge in research, development, and implementation of automation solutions that revolutionize our distribution centers.Responsibilities:Lead R&D of revolutionary robotics applications.Implement conveyor systemsChampion and drive pilots and proof-of-concept projects to assess the viability of new automation technologies.Manage and oversee the execution of automation projects, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.Identify and define complex problems within the distribution center and develop innovative solutions using robotics and automation.Foster strong partnerships with external vendors and technology providers to leverage cutting-edge solutions.Analyze data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of implemented automation and identify areas for improvement.Develop and present compelling business cases for automation initiatives to stakeholders.Lead and mentor a team of talented automation engineers and technicians.Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies within the automation and robotics landscape.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Automation, Mechanical, Robotics, or Electrical Engineering.Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a related field, with a focus on automation and robotics.Proven experience leading research and development initiatives within a fast-paced environment.In-depth understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and their integration with automation technologies.
