The candidate should evince a root cause analysis-oriented approach to problem-solving. This candidate should show a strong commitment to go above and beyond to manage the unexpected and time sensitive IT emergencies that arise periodically, as well as to manage scheduled IT projects, including interfacing with the various IT vendors without much supervision and using a high level of discretion and professionalism.Job Type  Full-time. You must be able to work Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm and occasionally stay past 5 pm when workload and/or deadlines require. You will work in-office Monday through Thursday and remotely on Fridays from March through November; you will work in-office two days a week and remotely three days a week from November through March.Key responsibilities include:   Configuring, administering, and managing firm SharePoint server and IT systems, including endpoints and network equipment, to ensure efficient operation and securityPromptly addressing emergent and day-to-day IT needs quickly and efficiently, for example, diagnosing and resolving software, hardware, and cloud sync incidentsOrganizing, logging, and tracking company IT inventory and procuring IT supplies as neededInstalling, configuring, maintaining, upgrading, and uninstalling/decommissioning IT equipment (e.g. network infrastructure, employee workstations, etc.)Managing and implementing firm security protocols, including pen testingCoordinating with IT vendors (e.g. the firm's Microsoft products vendor, printer vendor, computer manufacturer, conference room AV contractor, etc.) for purchases, maintenance, and repairsTraining employees on Firm hardware and software systems, including new employee onboardingParticipating in IT Committee Meetings, and advising on and undertaking firm IT projectsResearching and staying current on security threats and proposing and implementing responsesStaying current on IT innovations and trends to recommend improvements and cost efficienciesOther duties may be assignedCurrent Firm Technologies Microsoft products (SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Office 365, Windows 11) Synology NAS Konica Minolta BizHub printers Ubiquiti network equipment (switches and firewall) Other Minimum Qualifications, Education, and Experience: Associate Degree in a field such as Computer Science requiredBachelor's Degree in a field such as Computer Science preferredMinimum three years' experience as a Sharepoint administrator, preferably in a law firm settingExpertise in administering Microsoft SharePoint/Teams-based systems requiredMicrosoft certifications preferred (365 Fundamentals, Teams Administrator Associate, Administrator Expert, Security)CompTIA A+, Network+, and Security+ certifications preferredKnowledge of remote support tools and techniquesProficient in document management systems and data collectionExcellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanorExtreme attention to detail, timeliness, and excellenceSuperior ability to organize, multi-task and prioritizeAbility to handle a diverse range of responsibilities and interactionsAbility to solve problems and administrative issues with little or no oversightAnnual Salary: Based on prior work experience, not less than $80K Benefits: Firm covered gym membership, tax free transit benefit program, IParkit garage perks Blue Cross/Blue Shield health insurance options/IRA/generous vacation/leave and PTO, Bonus eligible
