Director of Engineering Please double check you have the right level of experience and qualifications by reading the full overview of this opportunity below.Product Development Lead a team of Mechanical Engineers, Software Engineers, Electrical Engineers & Mechatronic Engineers.Company is a multi $B with a Global Footprint...the company's designs and manufactures Specialty Equipment (used by various OEM's in Automation) - - company's product is incorporated/used by various OEM's in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Medical Device Manufacturing and Precision Industrial Automation companies.Director of Engineering will lead teams and projects and set the technical vision, technical priority, KPI's (and manage between 4 engineering managers and a team of 25-30 engineers)Job Functions:Lead a team of Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers and other technical personnel.Lead technical projects - from design to build of this specialty manufacturing equipmentAspects of work include design, build, validation (electrical, mechanical & pneumatic) manufacturing equipment.Work with customer companies to inform / educate on company capabilities.Work with other teams..Marketing / Sales / Product Roadmap...and lead projects from front to end.Candidate Requirements:10+ years experience in Engineering as Senior Engineering Manager or Engineering Director. Experience in leading engineering teams Mechanical, Electrical, Software (or Mechatronics). Experience setting Strategic & Tactical initiatives, experience setting the technical vision for engineers to follow. Knowledge & or experience in improving engineering performance and throughput and establishing key metrics (KPI's) for engineering teams to follow. tKnowledge of Engineering Processes - DFM/DFA, FMEA, Gate Reviews for Product Development.
