As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for the implementation of a quality culture throughout the business, so every employee understands the requirements of our customers and can produce a quality product. The primary focus of the Quality Manager is to manage the quality control systems throughout the plants, including the quality certifications, process operating standards and corrective action implementation.What You'll Do:Provide leadership to the organization to help drive a proactive approach leading to improvements in design, manufacturing, suppliers, and customersPartner with Manufacturing Operations to solve quality problems while maintaining manufacturing efficiencies, meeting competitive business deadlines and increasing customer satisfaction levelsEnsure that internal processes and metrics are aligned to create highest product quality and highest customer serviceStrengthen quality systems and ensure Corporate and plant processes are implemented and adequately followedDrive improvements in all areas of operations, focusing on key performance indicators and key plant processesBuild strong relationships with customersSupport plant as necessary with root cause analysis, 8D, problem solving, lessons learned while driving consistent improvementsAssist plant with the deployment of corporate quality policies, auditing practices and ensuring adherence to company's Quality and Regulatory strategies in accordance with the established strategic planAssist plant with deployment and implementation of customer requirements and specifications as applicable; serve as escalation point for all customer issues for the respective accountsEnsure communication between operations & customers to ensure the delivery of the best productWhat You'll Need:7 years industrial experience in Quality Engineering/Quality Management in manufacturing, with operational background - hands on, plant level experience3 + years' experience in an oversight role leading teamsExcellent communication skillsAbility to develop strong relationships with customers and plant level teamsAbility to facilitate collaboration and communication with all operational teamsStrong presentation skills - both presentation development (Power Point) and presentation delivery
