As a Pipe Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing HVAC construction projects and will manage project needs including but not limited to materials, personnel, schedules, and communication with project management team, customers, and building officials.Make sure to read the full description below, and please apply immediately if you are confident you meet all the requirements.Job DutiesFull understanding of project schedule/milestones, submittals, contract documents (addenda, specifications, drawings) and in-house shop drawings; and would also be able to utilize these documents to coordinate work on site with other tradesComplete required paperwork and diligently process daily reports, next week plans, accident reports, disciplinary reports, etc. with handheld deviceRun and manage large scale commercial HVAC/piping construction projects and oversee multiple job sites simultaneouslyProven experience managing multiple crews from Foreman to Apprentice levelProven ability to coordinate with other trades to complete HVAC/piping scope of work within project scheduleCapable of making prudent monetary decisions on behalf of the company up to $5kAccountable for the safe performance of personnel and equipment on their job sitesProven ability to plan aheadUnderstands the flow of the project and can communicate with the operations or project manager on current or future labor needed on the jobUnderstands/complies with the company tool policy and can pass these values to less experienced employeesAble to install piping systems to include chilled, hot and steam pipingAble to work from ladders, manlifts and other equipment at various heightsPerform other related duties or special projects, as neededRequirements10 or more years of experience running and managing commercial HVAC piping/welding construction jobs6G certification requiredSupervision of projects ranging from $1M - $5M in valueExperience supervising job site personnel - Foreman to Apprentice levelAbility to lead a team to include teaching and coachingExperience completing required documentation electronicallyOSHA 30 certification preferred (company will provide if needed)Additional RequirementsMaintain a positive, cooperative, and teachable attitudeInitiative; self-motivated (driven), self-starterComplies and promotes company Safety PolicyAnalytical and problem-solving skillsRegular and punctual attendance.
