Automation Control EngineerIncrease your chances of reaching the interview stage by reading the complete job description and applying promptly.You will be responsible for controls and engineering needs for the plant where the development and manufacturing of electrification products are done. You will assist in maintenance through troubleshooting methodologies, and create and adapt programs to meet the plant objectives as well as maintain warranty and customer liabilities.As the Automation Control Engineer responsibilities will include:You will evaluate, troubleshoot, develop designs, and implement manufacturing process controls for all assigned programs manufactured in-house including OEM equipment and supply to ensure high quality, productivity, and cost efficiencies.You will develop algorithms to control devicesProvide Control engineering support throughout the plant, as well as engineering support to the facilityEvaluate manufacturing control systems such as Kuka, Siemens Controls, Robotics, Scanners, Cameras, AGV, SCADA, etc. Main Focus is Siemens Tia Portal.Write and test logic to ensure that error-proofing systems are functioning to design intentEnsure full respect of EHS rules and regulations.What we need from you:Bachelor's degree in electrical or controls engineeringExperience in automotive manufacturingBackground in Auto CAD, Electrical and mechanical, Multiple controls logic languages software programming, and robot programmingExperience with KUKA Robots or Siemens programming language is neededCertifications and/or specialized training in Controls are highly desired.The company you would join as a Controls Engineer:Global 1st Tier with major programs across the big 3Opportunity for fast-track growth and career progressionHave impact on multiple product lines within ElectrificationFor immediate consideration apply now!
