Job Description:

Climate Systems is looking for a candidate to fulfill: Service Turnkey Installation Technician.  In this role your primary responsibility will be to install like for like replacement HVAC-R equipment and associated devices.  All candidates should make sure to read the following job description and information carefully before applying. General Overview  Is a career student in our industry craft and encourages others to do the same.  Must know how to read and interpret product specifications and experience in working with building specifications, drawings, and designs. Understand air flow and water flow principles to obtain the performance results expected.  Possess the abilities to analyze, troubleshoot, repair, and restore equipment/systems to full operation and recommend revisions/replacements/upgrades when necessary for effectiveness or in cases of obsolescence. Perform full mechanical start up testing on installed equipment and devices.  Provide detailed and legible paperwork for record keeping purposes.  Be willing to, on occasion, work evening, early morning, and weekend schedules to accommodate client needs. Fulfilling the role of a service technician as needed.  Service Turnkey Projects retrofit & replacements of these types of systems and equipment:  Rooftop Units  DX Split Systems (Up to 50 Tons) Make up Air Units DOAS Units  Mini Split Systems Exhaust Fans & Utility Fan Sets Gas Fired Heaters (independent and Inline Duct Mounted) Electric Duct Heaters Duct Mounted Heating Coils VVT Zone Dampers & Bypass Dampers VAV's  PIU's Air Side Damper Assemblies (Outside Air, Return Air, Supply Ai& Fire / Smoke) CRAC Units (DX, Chilled Water & Closed Loop Dry Cooler) CRAH  Water-Cooled Self-Contained Units (Up to 25 Tons) DX Chillers up to 30 tons Water Heating Boilers up to 4,000 MBH (Cooper or Carbon Steel Threaded Piping Only) Pump Skids & Inline Pump Assemblies up to 30HP Like for Like Expansion Tanks and Air Separators Small Chilled Water / Heating Coil AHU's (Up to 30 Tons) Fan Coil Units  Unit Ventilators Chilled Water & Hot Water Control Valves up to 4" Pipe Diameter  Installation of new supplemental systems such as ductless mini splits and split systems. This is a Direct to Hire Position
