This is a full-time position.You will be working on a team of highly skilled technicians and engineers across a wide range of disciplines, representing solutions from Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Aruba, Okta, Microsoft and more. Your role is to ensure that industry best practices and methodologies are applied to the deployment, integration, and operational support of our customer environments. Candidates must live in the service area and be able to report to one of the four office locations. Occasional travel and weekend work will be required. This role reports the CTO.Duties and ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain a deep technical understanding of network and security technologies, including firewalls, XDR, SDWAN, SEIM, SOAR, other security solutions to present full solutions to customers and RSIWork with customers to design and scope new projectsDevelop bills of materials and solutions for customersConsult with customers on options and features required to meet business needsPresent solutions and scopes of work to customersDesign and planning on complex projects integrating multiple technologies across multiple disciplines as part of a team of engineersAttend or participate in various product training sessions and classes in order to broaden your skillset while maintaining RSI's vendor relationshipsPartner with named OEMs by becoming the technical sponsor for RSI.Meet with customers to discuss and outline new technologies that improve and enhance their current environmentsWork with a cross section of the RSI team including sales, engineering and management to complete tasks as requiredPresent to AMs, management, other RSI personnel and customers on new technologiesAssist team on specific project consulting and/or escalated support as requiredWork with Engineering manager to provide input for training requirements for Security team in line with business objectives and OEM requirementsCollaborate cross teams to develop processes to drive security recurring revenue streamsProvide leadership and guidance for programs and OEM integrations as it relates to Security vendors.
