Job Description:

The Engineering roll will design, develop, test and build temperature sensors for aerospace applications. The candidate must be detailed-oriented in nature, have strong organizational skills, and the ability to work with diverse personalities within several departments. Other qualities include strong communication skills both written and verbal, the ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines. Key Responsibilities:Will be responsible for the design, development and testing tasks that include generation of schematic diagrams, parts lists, assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and test plans and procedures.You could be just the right applicant for this job Read all associated information and make sure to apply.Review customer specifications and assist with technical proposals on new sensor applications;Hands-on prototyping and testing of new designs to verify the operational performance;Perform engineering analyses, including design margin, thermal, reliability, FMECA and safety.Prepare ATPs, QTPs, QTRs, reliability, maintainability and other documents as needed; and supervise/perform various testing including bring-up and design verification tests. Identify potential weak points, and develop solutions based on engineering judgment, and input from customer, suppliers and other systems partners.Documenting all electronic design and test activities.Participate in customer design reviews;Coordinate and support seamless transfer of new products for manufacturing operation.Create new processes and design practices to satisfy Thermometrics continuous improvement objectives;Collaborate with peers, supervisors, and managers to improve efficiency and reduce component costs in development and production; Perform trouble shooting as necessary on faulty sensors;Work is stated in terms of objectives, requiring project planning and judgment;May have overall project responsibility;Will act as a lead on most assigned projects and assist other engineers and technicians
