This role will provide crucial support to engineering teams by assisting in various technical and administrative tasks. This role requires a combination of technical knowledge, organizational skills, and attention to detail to contribute to ensuring ATARS customer satisfaction and prompt resolution of customer concerns.ResponsibilitiesProvide on-site technical support for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of ATARS.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise in the field.Responsible for maintaining ATARS maintenance, installation, and debug tools for the field.Install and commission hardware, software, and other engineering components.Design, automate, and run electrical testing.Work with design engineers to diagnose hardware and software failuresFacilitate communication between engineering, program management, and external stakeholders.Able to complete ad-hoc internal and external presentations with guidance from senior managers.Adhere to safety and FOD protocols and guidelines during on-site activities.Qualifications and Experience Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related fieldRelevant experience in field engineering or a related technical role (2+ Years)Familiarity with military aircraft and / or aerospaceExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsFamiliarity with project management methodologiesFamiliarity with debugging electronicsFamiliarity with LinuxExperience with benchtop lab equipmentWorking Conditions: The role involves frequent travel to project sites, often in outdoor or flightline environments. Field Engineers may work in varying weather conditions and should be comfortable working on-site. 50% travel required.
