I have a full time opportunity in Midtown Manhattan looking for and Network Automation Engineer to join the team. This candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing and automating our IT infrastructure by focusing on monitoring, alerting, automation, API integration, cloud, voice, and data analytics. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining solutions that ensure our systems are performing optimally, issues are identified and addressed promptly, and manual interventions are minimized.Do you have the following skills, experience and drive to succeed in this role Find out below.This role is hybrid, 3 days onsite, 2 days remote.This opportunity comes with a very generous base salary and employee comp package.Responsibilities:Collect, analyze, and visualize data from IT infrastructure monitoring tools and logs.Design and implement robust monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and troubleshoot potential issues across the IT infrastructure.Automate routine tasks and processes using scripting languages and automation tools to improve efficiency and reduce human error.Integrate IT infrastructure with external systems and applications through APIs to streamline data exchange and improve overall automation capabilities.Manage and maintain cloud environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and compliance with relevant regulations.Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of the infrastructure.Document technical processes and procedures for knowledge sharing and future reference.Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements and best practices in monitoring, automation, and relevant technologies.Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to proactively identify and prevent potential issues.Develop dashboards and reports to provide insights into infrastructure health and performance.Use data analysis to optimize infrastructure resource utilization and cost efficiency.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field or equivalent experience.Experience in IT infrastructure operations with a focus on monitoring and automation.Strong understanding of monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios).Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet).Working knowledge of API integration concepts and best practices.Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., SQL, data visualization tools).Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.Lori SklarskiSenior Technical RecruiterPRI TechnologyP: 973.732.5454 x27C: 973.432.9968F: 973.732.5456Lori.sklarski@
