If you are looking for an opportunity to be at the center of the innovation process for premium welding products, this may be the position you have been seeking.How you will make an impact:Product Development and Optimization:As a Welding Engineer at Miller Electric, you will focus on new product development and sustaining initiatives to provide optimum solutions utilizing tools such as oscilloscopes and PC-based software programs.Evaluate welding arc performance for commercial welding power supplies.Optimize welding arcs for GMAW, GMAW-P, GTAW, and SMAW processes.Develop welding related solutions for customer challenges and issues.Cross Functional Collaboration:Welding Engineers are heavily involved in all stages of New Product Development and sustaining initiatives, sharing knowledge to guide our team to success.Partner with various levels of the organization, including production, engineering, marketing, and leadership to identify, strategize, and bring to life the latest and greatest welding products to the market.Support cross-functional team members with advanced customer applications and challenges.What you need to do to be successful:Technical Knowledge and Skills: Strong knowledge of GMAW, GMAW-P, GTAW, and SMAW welding processes, techniques, and settings.
