Job Description:

Provides thought leadership and drives technical innovation. Ensures long-term requirements of systems operations and administration are included in the overall information systems planning of the organization. Responsible for the installation, maintenance, configuration, and integrity of computer hardware and software. Implements operating system enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system. Supports the software development life cycle, cloud infrastructure, and containerization technologies. Identifies areas for improvement in the continuous integration and continuous deployment pipeline, automates manual processes, and integrates new tools and technologies into the existing infrastructure. Must be comfortable working alongside development teams to streamline the development and release process, ensure code quality/security best practices, and implement effective testing strategies.Read the overview of this opportunity to understand what skills, including and relevant soft skills and software package proficiencies, are required.Clearance Required: Secret Clearance or clearable.Education:Bachelor of Science Degree or its equivalent or 10 years of experienceSkills Required:· Demonstrated experience providing technical leadership and supervision of onsite technical operations· Demonstrated thought leadership and technical innovation in a hybrid DevOps environment· RedHat 7/8 LINUX and servers running web (Apache with JAVA application support), FTP, NFS, LDAP, and DNSSEC services· RedHat LINUX High-Performance Computing clusters running Bright Cluster/Rocks leveraging InfiniBand interconnects· Experience managing Continuity of Operations in a High Availability environment· Experience overseeing Backup/Disaster Recovery operations· Experience with SAN/NFS storage solutions hosted on NetApp CDOT systems· Experience with data center virtualization using VMWare vSphereCertifications:· Security+ (Required)· RedHat Certified Systems Administrator or Linux+ (Required)· NetApp Certified ONTAP Administrator (Desired)· VMWare VCP-DCV (Desired)· Certified Information Systems Security Professional - CISSP (Desired)
