Job Description:

Currently searching for a Quality Engineer with medical device experience to work at the Winston-Salem facility.All potential applicants are encouraged to scroll through and read the complete job description before applying.This role will use engineering principles, team facilitation skills, and statistical process control tools to measure and improve key processes integral to the manufacturing of printed and unprinted laminated packaging materials for the pharmaceutical and medical packaging industry. Essential functions:Ensure all product shipped meets customer requirements in accordance with Customer Specifications.Contribute to maintaining strong positive working relationships with customers and suppliers.Manage the customer communication system with the goals of prevention of future occurrences via the Root Cause and Correct Action (RCCA) process.Identify, propose and execute projects to improve customer satisfaction, through performance and product reliability. Develop / improve product reliability and performance consistency.Lead or participate in internal and external quality audits.Drive continuous improvement activities and stays current with the industry best practices.Statistically evaluate process parameters and assess impacts of material changes to efficiency and process integrity, which will result in scrap rate reductions and increase yields.Experience you will need to be successful:Bachelor's degree in engineering OR related field with 7-10 years' experience.Medical device industry experience is required.Strong communication skills and ability to interact with customers.Experience with ISO 13485, GMP regulations, and/or food safety compliance.Demonstrated experience in statistical analysis, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or formal continuous improvement programs.Why work for us:PTO & 8 company holidaysMedical, Dental, and VisionLife and Disability401(k) and MatchWellness program including EAPPay for performance philosophyMedical benefits are effective on the first day of the month after being hired
