We are looking for a Network Engineer to join our healthcare client in Baltimore, MD on a permanent/direct hire basis. They offer excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K with match, tuition reimbursement, free parking and child care subsidies!This role will be a hybrid working model with 1-2 days onsite and oncall responsibilities when needed.Responsibilities:Administers and installs telephony servers and applications, network application servers, network routers and switches, data security, wireless networks and disaster recovery protocol activities.This position develops recommendations for new and/or upgraded hardware/softwareThis position takes the lead on monitoring and resolving issues as they arise within the data and telephony network.Perform day-to-day networking tasks to ensure network reliability, availability and serviceability with minimal interruption.Install and manage wireless networking infrastructure.Install, maintain, and evaluate network systems and communications.Oversee back-end equipment configurations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.Work directly with system equipment vendors to fix complex problems and perform upgrades.Required Skills/Experience:7+ years of network engineering experience Experience handling Cisco switches, catalyst switching, nexus switching, Cisco ISE (security product they utilize), Cisco prime (Cisco is a must have) Understanding of routing protocolsHands-on experience implementing Cisco technologies, including Enterprise Routing and Switching, Wireless, and Network SecurityExperience in implementation, design, and configuration of TACACS+ securityExperience with routing protocols EIGRP, BGP, OSPFExperience implementing guest wireless technologies, to include EoIP tunneling and foreign/anchor controller configuration/designPreferred Skills/Experience:Hands-on experience in the implementation of Avaya technologies including System Manager, Session Manager and Communication Manager and ancillary technologies related to these systems is strongly preferred.Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification highly preferred.Experience with Cisco 9800 series wireless controllers and their implementation in a centrally managed wireless network is preferredExperience with Cisco ISE implementation and experience in ISE feature implementation in wired, wireless, VPN configurations using device profiling/posturing is desired*Sponsorship/Corp to Corp will not be available for this opportunity.
