CBTS is currently seeking a Manager of Data Development for a position located in Cincinnati, OH.Have you got what it takes to succeed The following information should be read carefully by all candidates.Responsibilities:● Lead the data development team by driving the design, build, test, and delivery of new features, data capture, and efficiency improvements.● Refine and implement the processes needed to achieve operational excellence in all areas, including data engineering, agile delivery, and data solution reliability.● Collaborate with product owners for roadmap planning and prioritization, to deliver robust cloud and on-prem data solutions that drive powerful experiences to our reporting and analytics community.● Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal & external technology communities, and mentoring other members of the engineering group.● Ensure incidents are resolved with urgency and ensure that there is a root cause mitigation plan● Act as escalation point for project blockers and assist engineering managers with removing blockers as needed● Communicate complex technical ideas and concepts in a clear and concisely way to various stakeholdersQualifications:● Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience; Master's degree a plus● 2+ years' experience in managing high-performance teams delivering enterprise software and/or services● 6+ years' experience requiring operational support of mission-critical applications● 2+ years' experience in a leadership role, responsible for the direct oversight of a team of developers where you oversaw day-to-day activities, attained delivery metrics and provided technical coaching to staff.● Deep hands-on experience using databases and related technologies in a fast-paced business environment with large-scale and complex datasets including design and optimize queries, create data structures, and develop data models.● Outstanding customer relationship skills including the ability to discover the true requirements underlying feature requests, prioritize, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet bold timelines with optimal solutions.● Be comfortable with building effective cross-team collaborative working relationships with people at all levels of the organization.● Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment● Experience with Agile development methodologyCincinnati Bell Technology Solutions provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, amnesty, or status as a protected veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws."Notice of Collection for California Employees, Applicants, and Contractors
