Business Intelligence/ETL DeveloperLocation - Cincinnati, OH - Hybrid - Prefer local candidatesAll potential applicants are encouraged to scroll through and read the complete job description before applying.As a member of the Business Intelligence team, the ETL Developer is responsible for managing the design, development, implementation, management and support of critical enterprise Business Intelligence reporting processes and environments. The ETL Developer will use their knowledge of data warehousing and architecture to develop ETL solutions and help automate data extraction from source systems and transform unstructured and disparate source data into target data stores or data marts.General Responsibilities:Uses different data warehousing concepts to build a data warehouse for internal departments of the organizationCreates and enhances data solutions enabling seamless delivery of data and is responsible for collecting, parsing, managing, and analyzing large sets of dataLeads the design of the logical data model and implements the physical database structure and constructs and implements operational data stores and data martsDevelop and support stored procedures, understand and code in open SQL language in SQL and HANA cloud foundry (BAS) environmentsDevelop smart data Integration (SDI) objects between multiple source systems which helps in transformation, extraction and loading into target databaseDevelop logical and physical data flow models for ETL applicationsMonitor, create and troubleshoot SAP job failures, through SAP HANA and SAC cockpit for high performance system availability (i.e. Alerts, services, disk space usage, memory usage, CPU usage, stored procedures for QA/DEV/PRD)Perform complex data analysis/validation to ensure the accuracy and integrity of dataTroubleshoot and research data anomalies and recommend/implement corrective actionsPerform performance optimization and tuning on new and/or existing data warehouse and/or ETL operationsParticipate in ongoing architecture quality review activities to ensure both current and future capability meets architecture standardsCreate and maintain of documentation for existing architecture, data dictionaries, future data warehouse architecture and business intelligence reportingPrepare accurate and detailed requirement specifications documents, workflow analysis, user guides, and functional specification documentsDetermine storage needs for reporting databases and data warehouseMust Have Requirements:Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred3+ years related experience as a ETL Developer/Data Analyst or similar position3+ years related experience with data modeling with Cloud concepts (Snowflake, HANA calculation views)Experience working with SAP HANA cloud foundry is a plusExperience with SAP Analytics Cloud a plusStrong understanding of SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) (or similar tools) for ETL Proficient in MS SQL Server (or similar relational databases like Oracle and PostgreSQL)Experience in database design and management.
