Akkodis is seeking an Engineer-I for a Fulltime position with a client looking for an Onsite-Jacksonville FL 32258 Candidate.If you would like to know a bit more about this opportunity, or are considering applying, then please read the following job information.Pay Range: $65K/Annum TO $70K/Annum (Salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors).Job Title: Engineer-I/Water Resources EngineerLocation: Onsite-Jacksonville FL 32258Duration: FulltimeBenefits include but are not limited to:Benefits (401K, PTO, perks, etc.): Medical, dental, vision, PTO, life insurance, retirement, and STI bonus.Key Skills:years in water resources-related workexperience with H&H models such as HEC-1, HEC-HMS, HEC-2, HEC-RAS, EPA SWMM, XP-SWMM, or ICPRResponsibilities:Numerical ModelingExecute precise hydrologic and hydraulic modeling computations in line with project requirements.Develop and manage water quality models, as necessary, to support project goals.Utilize state-of-the-art engineering software and tools to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all modeling activities.Collaborate closely with the GIS analysts to integrate spatial data insights into modeling processes.Project Coordination and CollaborationActively participate in team meetings, sharing updates, insights, and feedback relevant to the engineering components of projects.Work in tandem with the team to coordinate project tasks, ensuring alignment with overarching objectives and timelines.Engage with both public and private entities to ensure engineering solutions meet stakeholder needs and expectations.Field Work and TravelEngage in necessary fieldwork, collecting and validating spatial data firsthand.Travel primarily within local regions; occasional travel for regional or national conferences.Continuous Learning and Professional DevelopmentKeep updated with the latest advancements in hydrologic, hydraulic, and water quality modeling and methodologies.Participate in relevant training sessions, workshops, and conferences to enhance professional growth.Education:BS in Civil Engineering, or approved engineering degree.Other Qualifications:as Engineer-in-Training (EIT)analytical, problem-solving, and computational skills.and/or CAD experience preferredorganizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, written and oralbe computer literateto work collaboratively in a team environmentEqual Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledBenefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits, and a 401K plan.
