Teamwork - We are a team that needs each members' contribution to achieve our mission.RESPONSIBILITIES:Obtain working knowledge of ProLift heavy lift and specialty rigging equipment in order to provide solutions to customer needs.Function as the lead designer of new tools and equipment for the heavy lift and heavy transport industryDevelop fabrication drawings and perform design calculations according to company and industry standards.Develop load test plans and participate in field testing activities for newly designed equipment.Develop documentation for new and existing gear including specification sheets, operating instructions, maintenance requirements, test certificates, repair procedures, cost summaries, spare parts lists, etc.Perform field walk-down assessments of job sites to facilitate office layouts of jobs in Auto-CAD to perform heavy lifts/transports.Develop and ensure compliance with Engineering processes.Perform minor design calculations and develop details under the direction of a senior design engineer (from time to time)Function as field technical liaison for critical lifts - includes risk management functions and safety evaluations of projects.Provide project engineering support to contracted work as assigned by Manager.Develop, review, and update operational support material as needed. I.e. SOP's and Qual CardsAttend ProLift sales and operations training events as needed.Launch and maintain engagement sessions with Sales, Branch Engineers, etc.Participate in daily Sales Bid Review sessions.Develop and maintain onboarding process for future engineers.Project engineering support includes, but is not limited to, the following:Design parameter and method statement creationEquipment layout drawingsSteel design and load-bearing calculationsOn-site engineering support as needed during the execution stage of the project.Meet opportunity and/or project deliverable dates as set by Sales/Project team and ManagerIndividuals will be expected to complete ProLift Specific, Regulatory and Identified Equipment training through our internal LMS system.Individuals may be asked/required to complete 3rd party and customer required training to gain on-site access.Other duties as assigned/requested.PROLIFT RIGGING OFFERS: Competitive salary Bonus program that pays for performance 401(k) Medical, Dental, and Vision coverageVacation and Holiday PayDisability Insurance Life InsuranceOther additional personal and professional benefits are available. Required Qualifications: An understanding of servant leadership principlesAbility to multi-task and exhibit flexibility in job dutiesExcellent communication skills and the ability to coach others5 years experience of Civil/Structural or Mechanical ProjectsKnowledge and experience with AutoCAD along with spatial thinking abilityFEA software proficiency and project engineering experienceFamiliarity with steel design codesFamiliarity with welding design codesAnalytical, detail oriented, organizedExperience with rigging, preferredExperience with cranes, and heavy transport preferredEducation:Bachelor's degree Civil/Structural or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
