Our client is looking to hire a Senior Quality Engineer with an aerospace background for their location in Middle Georgia. Our client offers excellent benefits and work environment.In order to make an application, simply read through the following job description and make sure to attach relevant documents.Essential Functions:Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place.Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment.Designs and analyzes inspection and testing processes, mechanisms, and equipment; conducts quality assurance tests; and performs statistical analysis to assess the cost of and determine the responsibility for, products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.Audit quality systems for deficiency identification and correction.Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards, and that documentation.May specialize in the areas of design, incoming material, production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality.Serve as a consultant to management and special external spokesperson for the organization on major matters pertaining to its policies, plans, and objectives.Experience and Education Requisites:Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 10 to 14 years of related experienceKnowledge of Microsoft operating systems and office productsCertified in lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies is a big plusAerospace experience
