A third facility is now being converted from PV only to a hybrid storage facility.  Additional energy storage systems for B2U's own portfolio and for customers are in development. Learn more about B2U at .   Job Description: B2U is seeking an Electrical Engineer to work onsite in Lancaster, CA to support the company's product development and R&D goals. The position will work with the onsite and remote engineering team, as well as interface with operations, product marketing, and project development.  The position will also interact with customers, such as automakers with whom B2U works on battery reuse project deployments. The ideal candidate will have a mix of design and hands on experience. Job duties may include, but are not limited to: Design and engineering electric vehicle battery pack protocols. Design new control interface hardware and wiring harnesses to expand our battery pack portfolio. Develop necessary tools, test fixtures and procedures to deploy batteries more rapidly. Perform a variety of on-site project deployment activities related to battery system integration, testing, troubleshooting, operations, and maintenance. Participate in system operation, troubleshooting, data analysis, and optimization. Work across multiple projects and capacities using advanced analytical and communication skills.  Experience:  3-7 years of experience related to reverse engineering, rapid prototyping, troubleshooting, and testing. Experience with large format electric vehicle batteries, electronic controls, power electronics, and/or power generation is preferred.  Skills/Requirements:  Highly motivated self-starter, hands-on, team player. Excellent planning, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to communicate within the internal team as well as with external teams and businesses throughout project lifecycles.  Proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook, Project. Use of electrical tools, (soldering iron, wire strippers, crimpers, multimeter, oscilloscope). Familiarity with networking protocols and analyzers (Modbus TCP/IP, FTP, CAN bus) is a plus. Experience with programming languages (Embedded C, C++, Python, HTML, Java Script) is a plus. Experience with ECAD (Altium Designer) and MCAD (Solid Works) programs is a plus.  Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.  Compensation: Competitive salary based upon experience and performance.
