Job Description:

LaSalle Network is partnering with a software company to identify an Instructional Designer (eLearning) to join their team. This individual will apply adult learning principles to analyze, design and develop blended learning content. This role will be responsible for designing and developing a gamified, blended learning experience that incorporates application-based design. Instructional Designer (eLearning) Responsibilities:Determine and recommend the proper approach to design, develop and implement learning deliverablesPlan, organize and create training materials, programs and/or curricula to meet specific business objectivesCreate learning activities that are congruent with learning objectivesCollaborate with SMEs to gather and analyze relevant content and to clarify learning objectivesMeet project goals/milestones based on identified business needs/timelines and obtain appropriate approvalsDemonstrate and apply knowledge of appropriate tools and resources used to develop training content including Articulate Storyline, Rise, MS PowerPoint, Camtasia, Adobe Illustrator, etc.Ensure all materials are consistent and aligned with learning and development guidelines and established standardsWrite scripts and talking points for eLearning modules and videos as appropriateWrite supporting materials for learning activities such as agendas, schedules, quick reference guides, FAQs, handouts, job aids, trainer and participant guidesIncorporate graphics, video or photography to support course development Instructional Designer (eLearning) Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Communications or related field or equivalent work experienceMaster's Degree in Instructional Design, Communications or related field preferred5+ years' experience developing eLearning projects including storyboardingComputer skills including strong aptitude with web-based applications and expertise in MS PowerPointKnowledge of training and development practices and methods including needs assessment and instruction design for blended trainingExpertise in designing gamified learning experiences and scenario-based and application-based learningKnowledge of learning theories and principles including adult learning theoryAbility to organize projects with strong project management skillsAbility to work independently and/or as part of a creative teamProfessional written and verbal communication skillsAttention to detail and analytical skillsProficiency in Articulate Storyline and RiseExpertise in Adobe Illustrator & PhotoshopAbility to develop meaningful assessments as part of a larger program If you are passionate about eLearning and Instructional Design, we would love to hear from you.
