The Goals and Challenges of this Role: Review and approval of drawings and models created by other members of the engineering team.Develop tooling, fixtures, drawings and procedures working with internal resources as well as external vendors.Develop and improve manufacturing utilizing knowledge of manufacturing equipment, assembly techniques and quality control.Assure product and process quality through testing methods, establishing and revising standards and manufacturing processes.Apply Basic Engineering Principles.Develop complete and accurate documentation of existing as well as new manufacturing processes and product introduction.Work with Project Managers to implement manufacturing drawings, instructions and timelines.Create 3D Engineering Models of Components and AssembliesCreate 2D Technical Drawings for FabricationWhat You Should Bring to this Role:3-5 years manufacturing, quality or process improvement experienceBS degree in areas related to manufacturing, industrial engineering, engineering technology or relevant experienceDemonstrated ability to lead and drive change through the organization.Proficiency with Autodesk AutoCAD and Inventor, MS Office tools, and CMM inspection software and equipment.Inventor (or SolidWorks) and AutoCAD proficientUnderstanding of ASME/ASTM Drawing StandardsGD&T experience is a plusExperience with Inventor Sheet Metal Tools is a plus
