We work collaboratively and with respect for each other, those we work with, and the environment to better serve our community.Want to make an application Make sure your CV is up to date, then read the following job specs carefully before applying.Ciorba Group is seeking a Senior Construction Engineer who will have the following responsibilities:Oversee inspection of local agency construction projects involving roadway and bridge improvements using local, state, and federal funding.Prepare all construction documentation per IDOT BLR&S requirements using CMMS, or similar detailed local agency required documentation.Measure and calculate pay item quantities, prepare contractor pay applications, and oversee preparation of construction record drawings.Coordinate directly with the client providing daily or weekly reporting, preparing for and chairing preconstruction meetings, and responding directly to the client with project issues.The ability to work closely with other team members and positively interact with the public.Position Requirements:6 to 8 years of construction experience.Illinois PECertified in IDOT's Documentation of Contract Quantities.S. degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to learn through on the job mentoring and training.MicroStation experience a plus.
