You Will:New product developmentDesign and development of electrical and power electronic systems for grid parallel, stand-alone and storage applicationsCollaborate with domestic and international teams to successfully develop electrical systems.Start to finish ownership of total system electrical design - starting from concept phase to release to manufacturing and field support.Vendor selection, specification development, design validation and acceptance testingDesign new adaptations or modifications to existing products to increase reliability, improve performance, and reduce costs.Troubleshoot, define, and initiate corrective actions for field failures as well as production issues.Guide and mentor junior engineersYou Have:Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Power Electronics or related EE focus10+years of relevant experience on electrical systems designApplication of sound electrical design fundamentalsWorking knowledge in electrical power distribution including AC and DC systems, electrical/electronic components3 Ph inverters and its paralleling techniquesAwareness of NEC and UL standards relevant to the design of power convertersProficiency with EE tools such as oscilloscopes, power analyzers in troubleshooting high power, high voltage equipment in a laboratory environment as well as in fieldKnowledge on quality tools like FMEA, RCA and fault tree analysis.Ability to handle design responsibility for multiple projectsAbout Bloom Energy: At Bloom Energy, we strive toward a 100% renewable future.
