Their focus lies on continuous improvement and innovation in valve technology, ensuring they meet the evolving demands of the automotive industry.Basic Requirements:This position involves providing technical support for plant operations, with a focus on leading capital projects, driving process improvements, introducing new technologies, benchmarking against industry leaders, and implementing best practices across processes, equipment, and workflows.Key Responsibilities:Contribute to developing process flows for new products and participate in Manufacturing Feasibility Reports.Determine machine parameters and tooling requirements for both new and existing products.Support the development and updating of process specifications and operation instruction sheets.Conduct capability studies on new and existing products and machinery to ensure quality and productivity standards are met.Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to reduce operational expenses.Develop procedures to optimize machine tooling efficiency.Manage capital projects related to production equipment.Adhere to daily guidelines of the Quality Management System and Environmental Management System.Participate in CIT & Champion team activities, utilizing tools like 8D, DOE, and other quality improvement methodologies.Standardize machine tooling methods to reduce the cost of quality, such as reducing stockroom inventories.Coordinate with contractors and vendors for equipment testing and order expediting.Cultivate strong relationships with external suppliers to facilitate new product evaluation and development.Conduct training sessions on procedures, processes, and tooling enhancements.Qualifications:Bachelor's DegreeTechnical expertise in machine function, processes, control systems, CNC, PLC, servo drives, stepper motor drives, and electrical/electronic systems.Proficiency in mechanical design.Strong skills in capital equipment justification, project scheduling, and managerial planning.Ability to mentor and develop maintenance personnel.Willingness to assist other plants/facilities with technical issues.Capability to self-manage assigned project tasks.
