We pride ourselves in having built a reputation for anticipating the needs of America's homeowners and then diligently surpassing them at every turn, by delivering cutting edge design, high-quality products, exceptional customer service, and a commitment to safety, efficiency, product longevity, performance and functionality in the construction industry.Responsibilities:Support the design of new products and refine existing ones, ensuring functionality, manufacturability, and adherence to specifications.Create detailed engineering drawings, 3D models, and technical documentation using CAD software.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, fabrication, sales) to ensure projects move smoothly from concept to production.Research and select appropriate materials, components, and manufacturing methods based on cost, performance, and design requirements.Prepare and analyze test data to validate designs and identify areas for improvement.Develop prototypes and conduct hands-on testing as needed.Stay up-to-date on industry trends, standards, and new technologies.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a closely related field.2+ years of relevant product design or engineering experience.Proficiency in 3D CAD software (Solidworks, Autodesk Inventor, or similar).Understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, fabrication, etc.).Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Desired Skills & Experience:Experience with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) or other simulation tools.Familiarity with design for manufacturing principles (DFM).Project management skills.Why Join Arcadia Custom: Contribute your engineering skills to bring innovative products to life!
