Sutoer Solutions has a full-time opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer - .NET - C# for our client in Chicago, IL. This position is fully on-site 40+ hours including some Saturdays.Learn more about the general tasks related to this opportunity below, as well as required skills.Education/Training: A Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math); Software design and architecture training.Requirements:Must have a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalismWillingness to engage in discussion with the team to reach the best possible solutions for technical challengesTo be proactive, inquisitive, always looking for a challenge and wanting to constantly grow as a professional and to help others around youProficient analytical skills and problem-solving abilitySkills: Experience with the following:Desktop development using the .Net Framework, , C#, .Net Core, MAUIWeb and mobile development using the .Net Framework, , Web Services (Web API), JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, BlazorMicrosoft SQL Server database design with experience in query optimizationExcellent knowledge of object-orientated programming and model-driven developmentFamiliarity working in a continuous integration and deployment environmentExperience: 5+ years of experience designing and building scalable and performing data-driven software applicationsDuties:Participate in the Agile software development from concept, design to full-stack coding and testingDevelop and maintain UI applications (desktop, web & mobile)Develop end-to-end solutions including the UI, web APIs, back end server processes and SQL databaseOptimize code for quality, performance, scalability, efficiencies and security; through testing, code scanning, refactoring and monitoringParticipate in the design and architecture of the application development lifecyclePractice Scrum/Kanban and adapt to Scrum valuesCollaborate with product owners to define/refine requirements, break down into development tasks, estimate effort, and plan milestones & deliverablesWillingness to invest time in continued educationExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMust be flexible with work hours and daysProficient at Microsoft Office software including: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and OutlookWork effectively & independently in a dynamic team environmentInformation Technology Department Our IT team develops and manages custom software, cutting-edge applications and state of the art infrastructure.
