The Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining production and quality standards by ensuring the uninterrupted operation of machinery and equipment. Focus: Provide service and customer support, ensuring prompt resolution of technical issues. Install, start-up, and service OEM automation equipment, including providing training as required. Diagnose errors or technical problems and implement appropriate solutions. Perform and assist with other duties as assigned to support production operations. Follow all customer procedures and protocols to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction. Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, fostering trust and loyalty. Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments to optimize performance. Maintain a safe and clean working environment in accordance with company procedures and policies. Skill Set: Automotive Technology degree, technical or automotive certification, or equivalent education required. Minimum of 2 years of technical experience or equivalent industry experience. Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics and programmable logic controllers (PLC). Proficiency in troubleshooting, testing, repairing, and servicing technical components and machines. Must wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required. Strong mechanical aptitude with expertise in machine controls. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint) and Outlook. Valid driver's license or a valid passport. Motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills and clear communication abilities. Flexibility to work flexible shifts as required.
