In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and optimizing server-side logic, ensuring the seamless interchange of data between the server and our users. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and defining the central database, building scalable systems, and enhancing the performance and responsiveness of our applications. Additionally, you will integrate front-end elements crafted by your colleagues into the application, requiring a fundamental understanding of front-end technologies.Please note: This position is based out of our company headquarters in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain robust, high-performing back-end systems and scalable server architectures, along with the associated databases.Collaborate with front-end developers to design cohesive codes and integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic to enhance functionality and user experience.Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, including implementing security measures and data protection.Implement automated testing platforms, unit tests, and ensure troubleshooting, testing, and maintenance of core product software to achieve strong optimization and functionality.Design and implement data storage solutions.Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle from design to deployment.Stay informed of emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluate new technologies for development efficiency, and apply these insights to operations and activities.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.3+ years of experience as a Back-End Engineering or Development.Proficient in programming languages like Python, Ruby, etc.Expertise in using frameworks such as Node.js, Django, Ruby on Rails.Skilled in developing APIs and RESTful services, with experience implementing services using REST or GraphQL.Experienced with various databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.Familiar with code versioning tools, specifically Git.Experience in containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes.Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.Emphasis on efficiency, user experience, and process improvement.Benefits Healthcare Package: Medical, Dental, and Vision401(k) Retirement Package with FidelityFlexible work environmentConvenient employee parkingAt Inpleo, we believe that the unique contributions of all our team members drive our success.
