The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in program execution and a passion for the defense industry. This position will play a key role in developing and executing the product strategy, managing the product lifecycle, and driving revenue and profitability within the assigned product line. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership abilities and a passion for delivering high-quality products that exceed customer expectations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Engineering, Program management and Operations related to RF Front End design and delivery. Bascom Hunter provides solutions to the Department of Defense (DoD) and Aerospace markets across various disciplines. Our BH Tech division currently provides products and services across four product lines: RF Systems, RF Components, Neuromorphic Processors and Photonics. Responsibilities:Manage the product lifecycle from concept to end-of-life, ensuring product quality, performance, and profitability throughout.Define product requirements and specifications based on customer feedback, market research, and business objectives.Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales, margins, market share, and customer satisfaction, and take appropriate actions to achieve business goals.Provide leadership and direction to the product management team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.Manage relationships with key suppliers and partners to ensure timely delivery of components, materials, and services required for RF front-end development.Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape in RF front-end design and implementation, and apply insights to inform strategic decisions.Drive innovation and continuous improvement in RF front-end design methodologies, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency, performance, and quality.Lead and manage the RF engineering team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to achieve project goals and objectives.Define and drive the RF front-end strategy, including technology roadmap, product development plans, and resource allocation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware design, software development, product management, and manufacturing to deliver RF front-end solutions that meet customer requirements and market demands.Oversee the design, simulation, and optimization of RF front-end systems, including amplifiers, filters, mixers, oscillators, and antennas.Conduct thorough performance analysis and validation of RF front-end designs, ensuring compliance with specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements.Provide technical expertise and support to sales, marketing, and customer support teams as needed, including participation in customer meetings, product demonstrations, and technical presentations.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, RF engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.US Citizen with the ability to maintain a DoD Security ClearanceMinimum of 15 years of experience in RF engineering roles, with a proven track record of designing and developing RF front-end systems for Defense applications.Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving revenue growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.Deep understanding of RF Front Ends, including customer needs, competitive landscape, and market trends.Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data and insights into actionable strategies and plans.Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Strategic thinker with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to business challenges.Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong technical expertise in RF circuit design, simulation, and testing, with proficiency in tools such as Cadence, Keysight ADS, HFSS, and MATLAB.Experience leading and managing cross-functional engineering teams, with a focus on delivering complex projects on time and within budget.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams, customers, suppliers, and partners.Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to develop and execute RF front-end technology roadmap aligned with business objectives.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering high-quality RF solutions that exceed customer expectations.Knowledge of RF standards, regulations, and best practices, with the ability to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.Equal Employment Opportunity Information: Bascom Hunter is an equal opportunity employer.
