Our team is passionate about driving positive change in the energy sector through data-driven insights and engineering excellence. Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and skilled senior engineer to join our team and contribute to our mission of promoting energy efficiency and equity. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying energy efficiency opportunities at industrial and manufacturing facilities, determining potential energy savings, collecting/analyzing data, verifying energy assessments, and implementing strategies to improve energy efficiency while ensuring equitable accessibility and benefits. Key ResponsibilitiesConduct energy audits and recommend improvements to reduce energy consumption.Evaluate existing energy systems and infrastructure to identify energy inefficiencies.Proficiency in HVAC, lighting, motors, and/or other custom commercial and industrial equipment, with a demonstrated ability to apply engineering design principles to optimize energy efficiency and performance.Ability to interpret and understand mechanical and electrical drawings, equipment nameplate data, and manufacturer specifications.Collect and analyze energy consumption and usage patterns.Identify trends, correlations, and opportunities for improving energy efficiency.Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement energy-efficient solutions.Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to diverse audiences.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, utilities, and community organizations.Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in energy efficiency and equity.Contribute to the development of innovative solutions and thought leadership in the field. QualificationsBachelor's or master's degree in engineering, statistics, data science, or a related field.A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant engineering or fieldwork experience is preferred.Proven experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and engineering.Strong proficiency in data analysis.Demonstrated knowledge of industrial process equipment, HVAC systems, control systems, and building envelope components.Knowledge of industrial systems, energy systems, and sustainability.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Effective communication and teamwork skills.Experience or certification in project management, demonstrating the ability to effectively plan, execute, and manage engineering projects from inception to completion.Commitment to sustainability, energy equity, and social responsibility.P.E., EIT, CEM, and/or CMVP preferred. BenefitsPay: $120,000-$175,000 annually.
