In this role you will be responsible for:* Overall responsible for the maintenance and management of all asphalt, pavement, roadways, etc. on the Air Force Base and main responsibility is to create 10-year plans for the overall maintenance and management of these assets.* They will be expected to participate in smaller design projects when needed for the certain asphalts and pavements.* Evaluates projects to determine the most appropriate and economical systems to serve afacility.* Reviews construction documents: plans, specs, code book, etc.* Participates in final on-site inspection.* Performs contract related services such as writing scope of work, site surveys, contractorselection, negotiations, construction performance monitoring, product design, design reviewof internal and external A/E designs, and evaluation, inspection and acceptance of bids.* Prepares detailed reports on the work being done on site.
